Costa Rica is an astonishing country to visit. More acerage of protected land than any other country of its size. Lots of national parks, and many inaccessable except by boat or foot.
1000's of hidden beaches, all somewhat unique, backed by the dry and arid Guanacaste plains on the north west coast, and the wet, pristine rain forest jungle on the south coast.
Overnight trips can be arranged to take you to our most famous park, Parque Nacional Manuel Antonio...small and spectacular.
Osa Penninsula trips are home of more bird species than anyplace else on the planet and the world's only fully intact, virgin tropical rain forest.
Watch for jaguars, ocelots and pumas. You will likely see flocks of scarlet macaws on the wing, and no doubt wake up to those noisy raskles, howler monkeys.
Depending on the season, we might see humpback whales and certainly dolphins enroute while under sail.
